Global Ripple Effects : SouthEast Asian Dominoes Falling Down

Regardless of the $2.7 T(trillion) cost in healthcare, the $17 T debt, $95 T unfunded liability, the debt ceiling issue returning in February again, rising food and oil prices, loss of industrial-manufacturing , loss of jobs ; the real threat to the USA is its loss as the worlds reserve currency set by Bretton Woods after world war II with the aid of the US, Britain and World Bank; the International Monetary Fund was created from that. The currency itself backed by gold could lend to war torn countries and developing nations alike. Recently, what may have become a real problem was overestimating the economy getting off the gold standard and over printing money creating a fiat economy. Fiat money(credit, debt, loans, grants, corporate welfare). The U.S. has sold its debt as Treasury Bonds to China, Japan and Europe , but there is the real threat of a T-Bond "bubble" bursting in the middle of the current global economic meltdown . China , the 2nd largest economy that can accommodate productivity for a fraction of costs is spreading its own wings and testing the waters not only economically , but militarily. Most National revolutions and World Wars were created not because of a military event(i.e. assassination, a ship being fired upon etc...), but , rather when the international banks demand to seize a sovereign nations assets when the payments on their loans can not be met. The collateral for those arrangements become property, worker productivity and virtually all real goods. If the Treasury Bond market does burst, we will see this possibly happening(it may have already). China's saber rattling is very loud as the behemoth nation of 1.4 billion has to feed its people, create jobs and compete in a world economy . Energy becomes the most important commodity in everyday life especially for growth. The only way a country can meet its nations expectation with limited resources is similar to what the 3rd Reich did with a policy known as Lebensraum or increasing "living space". China's Lebensraum: EXAMPLE # 1)China's extension of a Defense Zone beyond 400 miles of its international waters. The East China Sea zone now cuts into it's neighbors airspace. This is a bold affront to Japan and South Korea . China's Navy and Air force have copied US naval air carriers and F 35s down to every detail and are willing to show case them in the Artic and Mediterranean as we've recently seen. If that's not enough the Chinese and Japanese are locked in a battle between islands that have been considered Japanese sovereignty , but the Chinese say they are theirs. Both have sent gun boats to patrol the islands which are reported to be wealthy in minerals and petroleum. EXAMPLE #2 ) China is also laying claim to another set of islands that is currently held by the Philippines, known as the Spratly islands. The Japanese surrendered this island to the Chinese in 1946 , but the Philippine government say through "res nullius"(legal status of ownership) the islands belong to them. But, it is not just China who claims these islands. Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Taiwan all lay claim to them as well. These islands are a 45 chain archipelago in the South China Sea. Just as an aside the Philippines are locked in a 2nd island battle with the nation of Malaysia for ownership of Sabah Island as well. 3)Thirdly, China and other South Asian nations have a strong trading and economic zone with the ASEAN group as well as ASEAN plus Three(APT). These along with the economic trade group APEC can utilize a new standard of trade and indeed introduce a new reserve currency amongst themselves by-passing the U.S. dollar. If that doesn't make us take notice to this, another group called BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India , China, South Africa) are also creating strong economic alliances to keep competitive with the U.S. dollar. The Persian Gulf states as well have also locked in the Drahma(monetary unit) and have created a very competitive alliance called CCASG that may see using "Petro-dollars" as an alternative to the U.S. greenback. If you look at the world map and focus in on Asia. We see that China borders North Korea( a nuclear power), Russia(a nuclear power), off the coast of Japan, off the Coast of Taiwan. Its borders with Southeast Asia has been fraught with problems with its own Muslim population and often encounters disputes with Tibet . Its influences on Manchuria , Thailand, Vietnam, and the new country of Myanmar(Burma) is prevalent . China also borders another nuclear power besides Russia, both India and Pakistan have atomic weapons and have very hostile tensions with one another. What country is next door to Pakistan? it's Afghanistan. This country has cultural, religious, linguistic and economic ties with its neighbor. Afghanistan also shares a tenuous border with Iran, another potential nuclear power. This country borders Syria, northern Iraq which has ethnic Turks and the nation of Turkey . Can we see just where this possibly could be going in the near future? The dominoes are lined up to fall. These alliances (the dominoes ) today are all in alignment very similarly to pre-World War 2 conditions and a closer analysis will show that the "New Deal" of FDR didn't necessarily get the U.S. out of the Great Depression, rather it was the industry of war . In the wake of World War One, many nations were not aware of other nations having "secret" alliances so that when a country declared war on just one country, it was really declaring war on six, seven or ten other nations without its knowledge until on the battle field. We saw the dominoes of entire continents fall due to this. Orwell spoke of a time when global policy would make it "necessary" to have perpetual wars. To pragmatist and war industrialist alike these wars will answer many questions simultaneously about the balance of power, demographics, and resources. Destabilization, displacement and change of leadership status of nations to usher in a new currency(value) are a part of that agenda. Today's issues will only remain the same ,the only difference is that the players will change. The Dominoes of war are still falling. The nations involved in the land grab, oil grab and minerals grab and water rights stretch, from the Pacific Realm all the way to the Middle East . Africa is continuously in a state of war somewhere. It means that we sit on the edge of global catastrophe unless these conflicts
are settled in a timely matter, otherwise we will remain in an Orwellian world for time infinitum.

Seasonal Mercantilism Challenges Holiday Traditions: The Secularization of Society

Many are upset and voicing their opinions that many corporations are "canceling" Thanksgiving. In what appears to be a struggling attempt to get a "jump" on Black Friday sales , stores have introduced a new shopping day ( now known as "Brown Thursday"), things may have backfired unintentionally. The problem is that this designated Thursday is Thanksgiving and the new "shop-until you drop" day falls on one of the most hallowed days during the Holiday season. Critics of this concept state that Americans typically rest on this day and enjoy time with their families and give thanks for the blessings they've been fortunate to receive. Many large companies are challenging this basic view by "suggesting" to employers, managers and employees that they work and create a profit . Some see this as dismantling and demeaning to what are the very fundamental values of the heart of American traditionalism which is being "threatened" by corporate forces. Many have come to see this pinnacle of the free market system as falling into a hedonistic orgy of materialism. This is far from the original view of the bond of the Pilgrim immigrants and Native American peace treaty. The English Pilgrims were outcast socially from England and were struck with the very possibility of starvation in a brutal New England winter. The Native American Population took in this group and harbored them so that they could survive. Today, this story has been over-shadowed by pitching a tent overnight at a mega-mall and getting into a long line to prepare for a battle royal known as Black Friday, now extended to Thursday. But, now it will be extended one day earlier. The pressure on workers to labor, who are themselves shoppers and consumers the moment they leave there place of employment becomes greater. The pressure to manage regular home life with new expectations at the holidays become both a sociological, psychological and economic concern for the average family. What message does retail corporations send when they make Thanksgiving a "working holiday"; that there is nothing really to be thankful for ? Corporate America substituting traditional values for something other than those earlier traditions will become a battle between secular views versus traditional values. The holidays become more politicized and perhaps even a class issue born out of something that once gave the appearance of national identity, but the thin veneer of this is eroding. The "working holiday" sets a new precedence for American values and is seen by some as the potential exploitation of the American worker. For five weeks consumers will feel greater pressure by the illusion of choice and discounts that has been pre-calculated into the corporate bottom line the day after last year's Christmas accounts in attempts to estimate 3rd quarter objectives. Perhaps GDP and the red line is the real factor behind this move. What makes the situation particularly humorous is that the public will slowly become sober again from the five weeks of "merry spending" . The loss of temporary holiday jobs will prove that this slow economy is really no more close of being in the black. No new years resolution will be enough for what affects the feeble attempts of "stimulating" our economic situation will have by this method.

When Global Western and Eastern Problems Collide: Over-Population v. Over-Pollution

We live on the precipice of an inevitable and eventual global situation. A perfect storm continues brewing on the horizon as civilization may be witnessing the start of our world being utterly dismantled. This will not occur from a meteor from outer space, nor a thermo-nuclear situation, or even economic collapse. It will occur from our hand because of our own indifferences towards a total environmental meltdown of the biosphere . The part of inhabitants of the planet are deluded by our own petty cultural differences and others by our marvels and unlimited giant leaps in science and technology. We are harboring a sense of planetary denial and possess a narcissism out of control which harbors the "ignorance is bliss" belief. This past week In November, witnessed another international environmental congress known as the COP19 in Warsaw, Poland, where over 130 countries sit down to try and figure out what is causing the highest emissions of pollutants to the planet and how to standardize and control "normal" levels of emissions from nuclear power plants, coal fracking , mining, oil drilling, sewage and waste, sanitary land fills, carbon based sources and even that from human consumption. Many of the western and developed nations have trouble understanding the implications of what this effect has on our ozone layer, the survivability of numerous species and our own demise. If they did , we would have supported the Kyoto Protocols years ago. Kyoto is a city in Japan , the nation that has suffered one of the worst continuous nuclear waste spillages in history(how ironic is that). It occurred in 2010 and yet still to this date emits 400 tons of nuclear material into the Pacific Ocean. The western nations at these environmental summits have been criticized as being merely shills for international corporations. These critics decry these meetings act as mere economic conferences to fill the coffers of economic and financial institutions in a way not so much to eliminate emissions, but rather create tools and measurements to allow it to be traded , bought on international markets or taxed in some way. In other words it is an economic summit with its focus on how to further its own monetary endeavors at the expense of humankind and everything else on the planet. Therefore if pollution can be monetized to serve some higher economic and commercial good. The misinformation and ignorance continues to go unchallenged for example when westerners hear that climate scientist have said that even a global elevation of one degree Celsius can tip the scales of the world into an abysmal decline, most interpret that rise in temperature as virtually nothing. Because are thinking "locally" about their home temperature. But, in fact, this rise must be taken into account that air or especially water temperature is measured by each cubic meter(cubic foot) and if the world has a circumference of 20,000 miles and we multiply one degree rise to each cubic foot by each mile , we are look at an exponential factor that could spell disaster. This is heat contained in the medium of the biosphere over time. This is the "super-hearting" culminating effect. Pollution such as green house gases further insulates the planet by "blanketing" it in a cloak of soot and further destroys the protective layer of the ozone further creating warming. Many in the west however are content to be "programmed" by the same multi-global corporations who own the media and commercialize and monetize their industrial projects with television sports and entertainment. So you how an oil company that has spilled tons of oil has destroyed beaches, jobs, animals and land. "That's ok", all they have to do is have a cute T.V. commercial and it will be alright. This type of programming dominates the culture of the populous that is misled by the apparent comfort it provides in a world of global economic demise. The health consequences for these environmental disasters are legend and will continue to rise. The health implications from environmental diseases such as lung, heart disease and cancer will rise for a profit in the market and will support the "cycle" of programming. Not to mention climactic effects from melting ice caps, super heated oceans, ground shifts in tectonic plates and super cells in the atmosphere causing phenomenal storms, all which is incompatible with many life forms. ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GLOBE: We have a situation where billions of people are now super-packed into poor living conditions in urban areas. The United Nations has always been aware of a "population bomb". The worlds population hit 7 Billion last year and this is a doubling in the global population in a short few decades. More people are alive now than all the millennia previously in history. The population will now, not just have a tendency to double again it will rise exponentially. In Africa and Asia wars , droughts, poor irrigation, archaic nomadic living styles all have proven non-sustainable for its inhabitants, therefore the rush is on to larger metropolitan areas. This causes more a mal-distribution of population and over-crowding as well as "overpopulation". Without agrarian solutions with clean water, healthy cattle, solutions to war, education for irrigation, hydraulics and non-genetically modified seeds many of these societies will continue to over-crowd cities. This is not only a problem for Africa and Asia, many family owned farms can not continue to run the land and are taking subsidies because they can not compete. The "overpopulation" situation is marred by numerous other factors it appears. A side-effect of overcrowding is not enough comfortable living space, over competition for jobs markets, less time to seek higher education, artificially higher prices for food and clothing, disease, unclean water supplies and epidemics. As local farmers leave the land unattended large corporate farmers and wealthy land owners, tribal warlords, as well as foreign interests seize these resources . The local inhabitants can not compete in their own markets. There is a tendency for crime to develop as well as civil war under these conditions. The world will have to come up with a highly technologically advanced solution for everyone to agree as what is sustainable for this planet and its inhabitants because continuing to buy and trade our pollution is not really getting is closer to a sustainable life on the planet. I would hate that the globalist are not thinking of the rash, extreme "quick" solution to "reduce" these crisis. If that is so, we are further into a demise than we may think.

Social Media v. Digital Voyeurism: License Is Consent

There is no argument that the Digital Technology Age has changed our world in a phenomenal way, forever . What might have seemed like a fantasy in 1985 became a techies greatest dream or perhaps a Pandora's box with hackers by 1990.In the midst of this occurs the genius of social media. However, like a chameleon ,it continues to redefine itself by its masterminds who control it by influencing how we think and see as it flashes images across the screen. Their design and desire is to mold and shape not just your data but how that data can even recreate your reality orientation. In the movie "Minority Report" the concept of "pre-crime" had become a reality in a society that can now predict your next move before you even knew what you are going to do because of your current or past behavior activity in a network similar to the internet. The "system" can in fact "read" you based on patterns. These patterns are essentially based also on your phone calls. In this system your texts, what you buy , where you buy, what you eat, who you e-mail, what advertisement you look at and even who your social contacts are all compiled in a database. Thereafter a sophisticated tracking of your data activity is followed systematically. If your activity is not "regular" to the database or is irregular because of inconsistency in your movements, irregularities in purchases or contacts with non-regular persons in your network, the system alarms. The essence of the film "Minority Report", though fictional, was that your whole life can be "data-profiled" and made into bytes of information for any computer to predict what you do. In other words your profile is your personality. Data therefore risk stratifies a person into potential threat assessments in a system that procures information. This method already is used assiduously by financial, marketing , retail, major corporations and yes, even social media. Before you have even typed in a word completely on your laptop or tablet the very responses you are searching for seems to magically appear with a list of possible choices you could be looking up. This isn't just a cute little application being used by the search engines to assist, it is in fact "learning" your behavior. The search engine has "anticipated" what you could be searching based on your habits and the patterns they create. Based on your previous searches , the content, the frequency or types of selections allows a company to put together a profile of "who you are" . It also permits them to find out what type of consumer you could be. This means that the database describes all possibilities of what you are looking up by anticipating your next purchase even down to the type of brand you prefer. This enhances the company to know how to induce you . Sounds like something out of a science fiction movie, but it is social reality. Computers have already been designed to create contingencies to mathematically determine outcomes. This special technique of studying and formulating mathematical patterns is called stochiometry. Whether it is tracking an epidemic ,matching criminal behavior patterns in communities, or recognizing trends in the economy , they are all mathematical analysis predicting outcomes or behaviors. Whether you are swiping your credit card or shopping online there is virtually no difference to the methods approach. What are the implications when a state or county wishes to use those data in either predicting voter turnout or worse yet allow it to "fabricate" the data by tweaking districts (digital gerrymandering) . When it comes to health there are two ways to look at it. On one side it could help epidemiologist map an outbreak of an epidemic by helping to find the leading edge of it. While in the case of personal health profiles could make diagnosis speedier . Medical data-basing can be further fortified by hand held devices such as cell phones, tablets or even laptops through simple touch interface. The skin of your hand to the screen could allow real time data to become accessible to a healthcare system . New devices such as these and others exist today that would allow virtually all physiologic functions of a person to be monitored so that professionals could react quicker to emergencies, alter drug dosages faster, accurately or even activate a pacemaker all done remotely. It means labs, pharmacies, clinics, doctors and 3rd party payer systems can intercept those data for purposes of assisting a healthcare system at anyone's daily life routine. But , much like social media, health companies could use the data on patient/consumers by advertising to them with new treatments and medical devices and procedures. Intelligence data-basing corporations( i.e.,Life Lock) never could have conceived of individuals giving over their personal data, files, or photos to cross check against their own data file to "verify" an individuals identity. A more sophisticated version is now bio-metric scanning where an individuals digits, iris or face could be recognized as they sign on to social media. But, there is another side to all of this technology as it expands and is modified to our lives, that is these pernicious uses can lead to abuse and misuse. The sell or trade of data for a company's own or a rogue agent's purposes becomes possible. The potential for hacking files or a electrical grid or satellite brown out can also become problematic. Social media has often raised the issue of privacy , patent law, copyright law, as well as ownership of intellectual properties. The use and misuse of your words and image is always a potential in a system run a muck. If social media is made to be more safe for public use, it begs the questions then who are the "elite" few who are privileged to see your data files(medical, financial, travel)? Also what can someone draw or conclude from the patterns of your data history? If on the other hand social media isn't policed , a potential misuse of unauthorized sources may become a bigger issue. Whether it's a right of privacy , potential hacker issue or merely digital voyeurism, social media is influencing culture and how we all interact . Is this technology a final piece of a greater highly complex and complicated jig saw puzzle that sees the advantage of the human- digital interface beyond capitalism in a brave new world? As an aside it is rather ironic that Randi Zuckerberg, sister of famed Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg announced on NPR(National Public Radio) this week that consumers should cut back on the time used on social media! OVERALL ANALYSIS:Some have hinted that the current world system is slipping into black hole . Failures in economic, financial, political and health, energy systems are at a crisis level . Many look at digital technology to solve many of these same issues and it potentially can. A computer can perform thousands of equations within seconds. This technology has been reduced to RFID which evolved USP bar coding exponentially. Now the implantable micro-chip has been proposed as a definite improvement to this technology. This device puts all financial, social, psychological and medical profiles at the hands of its handlers immediately to "solve" problems before they get out-of-hand. This is perhaps the pinnacle of trans-humanism at its most pristine moment. The world has a "solution" device , But, is it a solution?(More at nanonutrition360.blogspot.com)

Hegelian Dystopia

Everybody knows that the Global Economy has made a major effect on everyone's life. However, many of us do not understand the machinations of how and what affected these changes on the grand scheme of things shaping our horizon. An evolution of economic experiments grew out the last one hundred years with architects by the name of Hegel, Engels, Marx, Lenin, Kerensky, Keynes, Galbraith, Friedman,Krugman and now Yunnus. The new "techno-economy" that merges computer and biomedical technology are nothing the past economic designers would have ever imagined. By the end of the 19th century and beginning of the twentieth century post-colonial powers had begun to lessen there chains on what would be later called the "developing 3rd world " .Much of the first world's wealth had usurped riches from the very nations it had dominated and helped "under-develop". In less than one hundred years the scientific discoveries in the medical-pharmaceutical , industrial and (bio)technological corporations would improve the living standards of virtually all those once deprived in the old economic colonial model, but for a price . The result was a spike in the world population along with a longer living average life span topped off with a large older living population which all created a complexity of "management" of all world's resources. A "great game" had to be devised to "manage" the worlds resources . This had to be done by "fixing" the access of those very resources to all human populations. Mathematics has and always forever will be the greatest and most important science to benefit humankind because of this, a legion of actuaries are more important than a platoon of soldiers. Why? because they can predict the future outcomes of what the world will look like through bio-statistics and very sophisticated mathematic computations. By knowing before hand how to predict what quantity of resources can be made available for a population one can determine what the global shape of the planet will be. Our planet today now has to deal with shifting demographics that can not be sustained by limited resources whether they be caused by real or artificially created food security issues, lack of potable water, medicines that treat or cause harmful side-effects,, loss of arable land or even a fluctuation in a labor force that can abruptly affect an economy. At the same time , there is climatic changes(uptick in tsunamis, typhoons, hurricanes and earthquakes), droughts, discharge of pollutants include nuclear waste, oil spills and now economic uphevel
. The solution is creating a very tight mathematics that is tied to every daily resource in a human beings life. There is only one tool that can afford human beings the luxury or "illusion" of stability while yet account for the utilization of all resources to balance a daily equation of consumption, utilization and productivity . The tool that is built to measure all human activity and outcome is the microchip(RFID). Its uses will prove vital to the survivability of the planet because of the wide range of mathematical calculations if performs in real time. A growing world population means that the "elite actuaries" show that we can not go back to what the world was like 50 or 100 hundred years ago. It means that before resources are utilized they have to be fully accounted for and tracked for all demographics. This can only happen provided if the microchip(RFID) becomes an intimate tool attached to human use and function. Can it happen or will it happen? To some it is merely a matter of time. The tool already exists, the "mathematicians" just haven't agreed yet how the tool will be introduced. It can be done neatly and slowly over a period of time giving the illusion that free will and individual choice via the markets steers consumers to selecting it as the only rational solution to a fast paced world or it could come by a very "violent" or sudden emergent situation occurring to demand that all humanity is coerced to utilize it for the better good of the planet such as an epidemic(microchips could track the disease and treatment) or an economic collapse(where all utilization of resources consumed are scanned in real time) . Mathematics predicts the future. Before the computer age, the 'push-button" electronics age was considered miraculous, but the electronic age introduced a far more "miraculous" age, the "Digital Age". It is no doubt every component of daily life is digital. Name one thing today that isn't digital. Every electronic device in the home, vehicle, markets, transportation and communication and entertainment all demand for digital technology. Was this occurrence merely anecdotal ? The next step is a new nexus of Trans-humanism that promises to merge human beings with bio-technology and bio-genetics awaiting on the horizon. The question is what or how humanity calculates his present situation will certainly determine our future. Bio-genetic technology may offer a possibility to feeding the masses on a starving planet ,create new drugs for new epidemics, genetic manipulation for mutations for intrauterine development and new uses of 3-D bio-printing of human organ implantation. This will become a part of a new "techno-economic model that could never have been imagined by earlier economist . The possibilities seem endless. But, is it moral? The question will be for the future is whether it will be necessary? (More at http://nanonutrition360.blogspot.com

The Duopoly: Case for American Electorate to Mandate 3rd Parties

October's government "Showdown/Shut down"(October Surprise) may be the biggest reason why Americans are scratching their head puzzled by the credibility of their elected officials and their representing their constituency. Both political parties ignored the victim in this situation which is the American public who wishes to have a sense of security in the current crisis in the Global Economy. After several government services were interrupted, several million dollars lost on shutting down the national parks, several being furloughed and the healthcare website not really activated, Americans have just about had enough of this tug and pull. To make matters worse, lawmakers have only "kicked-the-
can" down the road. We will be facing the very same exact scenario on January 15th for keeping our government open and again on February 7th when a vote on the debt ceiling is brought back( remember these issues occurred in March of 2013). The exhaustion of a repeat has brought the typical citizen to question the value of their vote and the bigger question of placing their votes in a more representative and responsive and responsible congressmen. Americans saw the impact what a 3rd party could do when Williams Jennings Bryant who ran as a Populist ran a very tight race in the 1896 election and early 1900s. Again, 3rd parties revealed how significant a role than can play when the Bull Moose party led by "Teddy" Roosevelt won his party's candidacy for president of the United States. These were examples of how independent-minded yet objective American political views could play a pivotal role in political ring. Many saw the Green Party's effort as the start of the workings of a serious pitch even though with less than 3 % of the electorate, Ralph Nader may have captivated the imagination of the American voter. Gary Johnson's Independent Party in 2012 at least put on the ballot an opportunity for Americans to have choice and gave a sense of empowerment that's been long lost. So, what is the American electorate to do? In Europe, real checks and balances are affected by several parties being placed on the ballot and are given equal media exposure along with balanced campaign finance. No one or two parties appear to be dominant and the tide in government by several opposition parties cause the shift in government more readily. Politicians can't afford to be too comfortable. If 3rd parties are given this opportunity this may cause elected officials to limit only voting their parties position or those who don't vote with their constituency rethink their policies , it may also limit their siding with special interests. Term limits haven't curbed this nor the gerrymandering of voting maps. The electorates hand may need to be forced to equal the playing field for potential candidates and reveal the true equality in our democratic system. If the electorate only represents two parties we will resign ourselves for what it has really become, a Duopoly and not a Democracy.

Independent Physician Group Not Shy To Speak Out

In most of the healthcare law there seems to be one single group that is always conspicuously missing from the debate. This group perhaps is the most important single group that could influence the outcome of our national healthcare system. It's the physicians! Where are the doctors one may be asking in all of this. One group called the Physicians for a National Health Program(PNHP) has spoken .Dr. Steffie Woodhanlher, MD, MPH from Harvard stated that the current "single payer" system that models a "Medicare for All" approach calls for too many plans, co-pays, exchanges and navigators. At best it is a skimpy coverage particularly for the middle income population. It is very good for the working poor and those not insured. The PNHP leader went on to say that the new health law is too complex , expensive and complicated. Even after everything is said and done 30 million Americans will remain uninsured( confirmed by the CBO , Congressional Budget Office) . There were 25 to 30 million who were already never included in the original law because of being mid level income people who can't afford the co-pay in the first place. The current plan appears to be 400 % above the poverty level. It doesn't appear to effect the premiums as great as it does out-0f-pocket payments and deductibles, but it is noticeable . By making Medicaid a state option and if states don't expand those in the program , those insured under it will not get healthcare.
The group however, did feel a plan that expanded Medicare and enrolled the Veteran's Administration and Social Security Administration would be a start. These programs already know the income of people and where they fit in a health system by knowing what they can afford before selling them a policy. Another recommendation was a system modeled more after Canada and Europe could benefit the reduction of paperwork, waste and unnecessary spending and administrative costs. But, now more of the program is falling apart with numerous individuals being dropped by their health insurance plans, particularly the Keiser Permanente and Blue Cross programs in California, Florida, New Jersey and New York. But, that's not the end of it. Many medical doctors are also being "let go" by their plan as well. The roll out with the website is now being pushed back again to late November or December for full activation. This issue is also a point that constitutional scholars who will debate if this constitutes a legal matter compounded on to the 20 or more states who believe it is. With this physicians may no longer be able to sit on the fence.

What incentives do young and healthy have in joining the National Health Law:Part 1

Social Security and Medicare were created to insure the poor, the elderly and that the retired so that they could be ensured of having healthcare at affordable rates. Much of this was copied from the pragmatic social policies that were already in use in Germany and Great Britain's National Health System .Now, fast forward Eighty years later where approximately 50 million Americans "did not" have healthcare insurance at all and several million more are still under insured. Enter an era where 35% of Americans are overweight and 30% are obese. At a time where over 20 million are diabetic and many of the newly diagnosed are pediatric cases along with heart disease and cancer rising at a rate that make them the number one and two causes of death. Healthcare costs are 2.7 Trillion a year and is rising. Now, we are in dire straits of the "health" of our nation not just fiscally but some have said that the health a Americans should be considered a national security issue because of the implications. DEPENDENT ON THE HEALTHY AND YOUNG:The current new healthcare law is dependent upon a continuous source of subsidizing that if it works. That source is the very healthy and the young. That group between 18 and 35 years of age who are typically healthier because they workout regularly and are not laden with multiple chronic illnesses. It is this group that the new system has to be dependent on to "subsidize" the system into flowing. But, there is a glitch...there is no incentive for either a young or healthy person to "buy in" . The young can save about $500 USD NOT signing into the new healthcare system and just be hit with the penalty. Not only that you do not have to "buy in" until you have a medical issue. Studies show that the elderly cost the healthcare system penalty of $95. The elderly are 7x(seven times) more costly than the young and healthy when it comes to paying the for those costs. MANDATE PREVENTION: The new system forgot to "mandate" that its users have to have a set standard of checking what real health is> Mandate that those who utilize the system also have to maintain their health in the standards considered healthy . That means regularly checking (every six months) ones cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, hemoglobin A1c, cancer markers are within normal range. The Government should Mandate that exercise and nutritional programs and marker amounts are set to an individuals metabolism to prevent cancer, heart disease and diabetes.'''Creating a Lifestyle Mandate that the utilizers of the healthcare system should participate in activities such as walking three times a week for at least an hour, mandate that they lose two pounds a week if overweight, make sure they keep a normal (BMI) and make sure they hit a target heart rate weekly. These all cost much less than the $2.7 Trillion in acute care that we spend on today with surgeries, emergency interventions and fiber-optic procedures. APPLICATION OF TECHNOLOGY: Billions of dollars could be saved with prevention services on a daily and weekly that could be called a weekly measure of health progress as either body mass or laboratory measures. why not give participants receive some time of credit that can be put to health use. Such as if you lower your blood cholesterol, glucose and body mass;you get free spa facilities uses , work out with a professional team for a a week in camp. Also give them incentive tools) to eat better by putting organic soft drinks and organic lunches in. Reward kids who take off weight with more activities that will motivate them to lose more wait. For older adults these positive benefits could be translated into health savings account credits that can be used in an event or medical activity that improves health while reducing cost. INCENTIVE: We've just discussed why the young and healthy do not seem to have any incentive to "buy in" to the system because the fact they are already healthy and have a lower risk of disease and would much rather pay the $95 penalty. But, the same question should be asked of those who receive the subsidy of health insurance but do nothing to reduce risks by performing activities in exercise and diet or lab checks to improve outcomes over long term. If the young and healthy are subsidizing the unhealthy, elderly or uninsured ; those groups also do not feel they have any incentive to try to improve their health prior to seeking medical help. If the youth and healthy see a 50% rise in premiums because they have to assist "subsidize" healthcare they do not only feel it is advantage, they may feel they are being taken advantage of . The question is where is the "middle road"? It does exist. It exists where both groups feel an incentive and both the healthy and unhealthy perform tasks in prevention that can offset costs or actually reduce dramatically the costs of acute and chronic care medicine. The healthcare law is already in effect, so now lets improve upon it by "mandating" performances that improve health. Two other subsets still need to be looked at: those who are under-insured and unhealthy and compare that to our congresspersons who get to opt out of the new healthcare law and get their healthcare subsidized. If it is good for one American, it should be good for all. It is time to look at superimposing a Healthy Lifestyle Program to the Healthcare Bill. If not , it looks like its just a insurance tax and nothing is. Worksite health promotion programs at work, Physical Education programs in schools and community health/social centers with trails, gyms, and other outdoor and indoor equipment can help reduce childhood diabetes and obesity. This is what makes health a human rights issue, not just a insurance tax.If the young and the healthy feel that they are not getting anything out of this except just showing you have a government card, there is not much us for them to join in mass. This shrinks the sources for paying for the growing aging population.Another factor that will have to be looked at rather seriously will be bio-medical technology such as the microchip of genetic manipulation in maintaining a healthier society.

Dominoes Falling: The Implication of a Partial Government Shutdown Has Potential Longterm Effects

On the Monday the U.S. government shutdown occurred the markets had already began to wince and predict some reaction for the future. The Dow Jones had fallen by almost 125 points and the official shutdown was still yet hours away. What does this tell us? This "partial" government shutdown is unlike the one in 1995. The situation under which it comes under with the world economy especially. The shut-down means that approximately 800,000 federal employees will be furloughed. This includes those at Social Security, the Veterans Department, FBI, FAA and at national parks and monuments as well as several others . This government shut-down really is a congressional showdown with the administration based on the politics of the healthcare policy. They continue to play hardball . Congressmen , sometimes looking more like consigliaris with strong arm tactics and hurling threats back at each other. The two sides(Democrats and Republicans) are playing "political chicken" with the American public. This game of who will blink first will have a very injurious effect no matter who blinks first. We are also treading extremely close to the Debt Ceiling deadline of October 17th which is a giant fiscal cliff never imagined. Why is that date important. First of all we are mandated to pay $30 billion USD of $60 Billion owed to creditors, immediately. The USA has had its credit rating already reduced. So, what signals does this send further to the world market and its creditors? It says that our economy is standing on shakey ground. Can the U.S. afford another credit down grade? OCTOBER 17TH IS D-DAY: The U.S. economy is $17 trillion dollars in debt, creditors demand $30 billion of a $60 billion payment. We have over $90 trillion in unfunded liability. Currently China, Japan, Germany and England buy our debt as Treasury Bonds(T-bonds).But, we are facing a "T-bond bubble". Usually when an individual has "maxed'out" on their credit card limit, they either have to rip up the card and attempt to workout a way to pay it off,or either be forced to pay off the debt forcefully or file for bankruptcy . The government of the U.S must look at #1 Furthering the Sequester with more cuts to government agencies and entitlements or #2) print massively amounts of money to keep the system working and prop up the U.S. dollar at home while reducing its value internationally which would be Quantitative Easing expanded or #3 do like Argentina and default on the loans we've taken from international banks. Each leads to a potential financial collapse , but just at different paces. #1 and #2 are a slow painful way to go because someone's job has to be cut, but those who survive get to live another day. We are seeing the effects of printing lots of "free money" is having . This is the "monopoly effect", named after the board game. This creates hyper-inflation at home much like the Weimer Republic in Germany after World War I where it took 50,000 Reich Marks for a loaf of bread, but in countries that have stronger economies these prices mean nothing. Other economies could easily "gobble up" U.S. assets. This political infighting appears very frivolous to the international community who are monitoring this(Martin Sorvell, WPP). This makes the U.S. look weaker, particularly after having to pivot its stance with President Putin with the Syrian ordeal. Other monitors(Ben Collett, Systems Wide Brokers) of the world economy see that this government shutdown will cause a lack in volume in the market along with lots of confusion. Their will be very little risk appetite and interest rates will taper off. We will see more dollar weakness world wide. The U.S. is between a rock and a hard place and it's going to potentially balloon into a financial meltdown the size of which have not been seen in the world ever. Get your "elected" congressperson to realize what they are doing with "your" money. If there was ever a time to "balance the budget" and not just continued lip service this is it. How did a simple civil debate about healthcare become now a threat that could bring down our economy like a house of cards. Whatever happened to compromise?

The Consequences of Humanity

Is it true that the human species has evolved from a clump of individual cells that decided to somehow join together under some sybmiotic alliance to promote their survivability on the planet as we know it. That somehow out of this a shared mutual egalitarian behavior mutually took place. It sure does not look like our genes possessed this based on how the human species treats one another in its daily interactions in traffic, the line at the burger stand or cinema. Human beings are much more in a rush to "beat" the guy next to them that the simple niceties and gestures of human courtesy or common decency have all but been eroded in our "advanced" stage of the high tech world we celebrate. Paparazzi run down actors, the "F" word is passed around teens and adults alike as if it's a greeting. We somehow possess the zeal to denigrate and efface our own humanity for the momentary narcissistic delight of making someone else feel less Why do we relish other peoples misery that's so short-lived? What has this gotten us in the last 2000 years of "civilization"? The conquering , destruction and enslavement of other peoples or perhaps the raping and pillaging of communities only to "evolve" into empires that dominate without mercy that makes others indebted to larger institutions which destroy all sense of dignity and smash a person's integrity. Today we feel that we are at the pinnacle of this "evolution" because we have weapons that can be hurled thousands of miles at the push of a button and can destroy a civilization within seconds. We , the modern day hairless hominids do our own version of thumping our chests as we grunt, rant and rave as our ancient forefathers did with the "Harlem Shake" , chest pumps, fist bumps or the classic "middle finger" at misery of others. Let's see ; we all are made up of 75% water, the same water that we all drink. We all require the same oxygen in air as well as similar carbon based materials to derive energy to live. The sun shines on every human in one form or another that rely on. The planet we live on is made up of virtually the same dirt to grow our crops, yet and still we've created a modern day caste system through our own humanity, by human ideals from our human mind that someone else's part of the dirt is more expensive real estate, that someones water is better or the color of someones nostril makes their air better. Isn't this quite astonishing? Many of us justify our own personal ill behaviors because we feel that these small acts of inhumanity are insignificant and feel in the end that we're powerless in comparison to a global organizations actions on matters. But, we would be so wrong as to mistake how someone's violent action in rush hour traffic because of having a bad day could translate into a brutal altercation or worse off a mortal tragedy affecting the many lives of a family. Maybe this would derail a child in that family who loss someone in that road rage incident from pursuing goals to go to college and pick up a gun instead of a laptop and perhaps that kid's pursuit of crime harms somebody else so brutally that this vicious cycle of "oh it doesn't really matter anyway because it didn't happen to me" attitude continues to soar out-of-control. So, whats the answer to humanities rapid demise? It is humanity itself. Systems of barbarism were able to be defeated by communities enlisting rules of law along with sanctions. These tools of society had to be created "artificially" and holographically as mechanisms to give order and balance. Today a new mechanism and new tool stands on the horizon to again give humanity balance and order where it has lost the sense or sensitivity of it's own humanity. Again, the "genius" of humankind comes in the form of tools. Not more bombs, not more rockets , laser beams or heavy armor. Just like the tiny single-celled organism that organized billions of years ago, the micro-chip is poised to become the "key" that will unlock humankind's illness and nudge us to become aware of it's "human-ness" . Where human beings could not learn the lesson of sharing, respect, or other simple gestures of politeness...our technology will be somewhere tucked away around and near us to sharply remind us when we "get out of hand" with one another. This "nano-device" will serve humanity but eroding all forms of "isms" such as sexism, racism, ageism, ethnocentricism, and classcism , crime and in-balances and disorders. The modern instinct which has become extinct will be revised into something perhaps greater? What are the alternatives with 7 billion humans all trying to survive? Genetically modified foods will have to feed a world that is stricken by droughts , genetic manipulation will become the new medicine that heals all, and the micro-chip will become the great limiter of all inequities among mankind. This just might be the world we are "allowing" to be built in this next generation because we have ran out of all other solutions to bring "peace on earth". What idea or mechanism will bring all 7 billion human beings with different languages, races, socio-eonomic classes, educational levels, religions, governments, and economic systems together in the relatively short time humankind has to bring about a new necessary change to evolve humanity before global disaster? The "Nuclear" Clock is 2 minutes away from midnight. Is humanity at this moment yet evolved enough or altruistic enough to realize the consequences of it's own doing? It is time to become deeply pragmatic, rather than hopeless, perhaps even becoming more introspective and philosophical. Ask yourself what war has resolved all our problems; what global central bank Quantitative Easing(Stimulus) has reduced suffering and pain; what new drugs have cured all disease, What new weapon has stopped crime? We are on the precipice of a great awakening for all humanity to show "what it's got" and what greater "self" it's capable of being ; it either has to lay all its cards on the table in the most absolute and greatest altruistic gesture of human-kindness known to humanity. Or, maybe we need to think the next time we "cut" somebody off in traffic or a supermarket line or see our child "butt" in line or bully another kid. Perhaps we need to stop a mere second longer if a kid from another neighborhood , ethnicity or school wants to play with your child. We are going to have to erode the idea and culture that "everyone" is a "suspect" especially if they somehow look "differently" or wear different clothes or have another hairstyle. We are going to have to learn fast by not condemning someone as guilty because they speak with a different accent . Human beings last opportunity just may be having to walk on that faith the keep talking about and give others a real chance to establish themselves and do the right thing. It's time to start acting like a Samaritan, if not the consequences of Humankind's next level of "manufactured" evolution will be about to begin.

Planetary "Illness" : Diagnosis "Critical"

In the past many of us have compartmentalized health from politics, the economy, and the planetary situation of the environment seeing them as completely separate situations not directly related. But, recent circumstances such as the use of depleted uranium , Fukushima's disaster, the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, the BP oil spill, numerous forest fires in the U.S.A and Amazon, glacial ice melting, unpredictable snow storms, and the frequency and massively sized tropical storm cells all have had immense effects not only on the planet , but directly effects on the health of its inhabitants. The human organism is merely a microcosm of our planetary condition. We can not separate the health of the planet from that of each individual on the planet. The massively enormous planetary ills knows no borders when global disaster occurs. THE PLANETARY BIOSPHERE: The earth is an internal ecological system containing both living organisms and inanimate objects to assist maintaining life. The planet sustains all living organisms by providing hydration, energy and healing products(plant, herbs, minerals) to help us exist. Although the Eco-system makes human beings the superior life form because of our intelligence, how well the humans have currently maintained the planet is questionable? How many more nuclear insults can our home planet sustain ? How many more chemical spills can the human organism survive? Because of our position in the "food chain" human beings have a moral obligation to keep a harmonious balance on the planet and we have an obligation also to the next generation if the human species is to survive. Are we willing to destroy our planet for the closed minded false 'belief" that the human biological organism is a protected entity that doesn't absorb these massive insults cumulatively over time ? Hiding our past or current self-destructive planetary behavior doesn't change the fact that nuclear material from Fukushima, Japan has already hit the shores of the Pacific coast threatening a rise in various cancers all along coastal Japan to Alaska, Canada and the continental USA. The clean up from BP's oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is still not completely over. But, the effects it has had on bizarre symptoms by tourists, residents and clean up crews alike have been well documented. Let's not forget the impact on the sea life. We've seen unexplainable migrations of infected dolphins, confused sharks and birds , we've also seen how Vietnamese catfish and Carp are overpopulating the Mississippi River and exotic reptiles in the Everglades are changing the balance in the ecosystem's sustainability. As we slowly phase out naturally grown agricultural products, both animal and vegetative, with genetically modified seeds; science doesn't completely know or understand the long term effects on the human organism nor the wider economic and sociological impacts it is having on local farmers to be able to plant and store their own seed and to feed their families. We never could have imagined the impact it has on destroying local markets leading to the numerous suicides it is causing throughout the world. The long term effects of over 300-400 tons of water containing nuclear material from Japan's Fukushima nuclear plant or depleted uranium in the middle east will take thousands of years alone to subside. Let's not forget that the half-life of radiation still has on the Chernobyl "glow" . Radiation doesn't change it's course in the wind or oceans only stops at certain borders. All lungs will breath in these conditions. How many more years will it take for the hundreds of square miles of the ocean floor effected from petroleum at the very bottom of the Gulf of Mexico to disperse and dissipate ? What long term effects will this have on both the human and marine population in the future? As more ills effect the biosphere , science continues to come up with more(inorganic by-products) chemicals poised as cures that have intense side-effects that can have both immediate and long term impacts as well even though the planet has provided means to heal. We can continue to name a list of literally thousands of planetary ills or disasters , but what are the solutions and resolutions to enact so as to reduce this apparent snow balling trend from accelerating out of control ? As the demographics and the number of the population rises and shifts , we have to look towards practical and reasonable humanistic policies that has its basis in science and humanity. Does this mean because of this we should look at the most sophisticated form of technology for more biological assistance? In time as the micro-chip, DNA manipulation , GMO foods become more important or even necessary for immediate solutions does it mean they are realistic or ethical-humanistic answers or does it mean the opposite that a method of "going back to nature" is our only assurance of human survivability. Perhaps there is a third choice, that of humankind's worth and value towards remaining a species amongst those others that do not abuse resources on earth. Perhaps we too, can learn from the lower phyla whom we "evolved" from. We can not rationalize what we are doing any further with these "accidents",or with use of numerous conflicts with weapons of mass destruction, nor with our effects on climatic conditions .But, at the same time there are no quick patch work answers. Whatever it is , it must be done with reasonable intentions , well thought out and with the wisdom of philosophers . The Atlantic Report will analyze and research all of these scenarios as realistic and potential possibilities from the view point of how these issues impact human health and the health of the planet itself.

Obscure Section of ACA May Be Capstone of Healthcare Law: Part 1

By now most of us know that the Affordable Care Act, better known as "Obamacare" is nearly 3000 pages long, but the rules and regulations of the bill attached to it are approximately an additional 17,000 pages long . At this point we may be asking ourselves who has read this bill in its entirety and more importantly who has the proper interpretation of its contents? Senator Nancy Pelosi was under the impression that the "only" way to know what was in it was to pass the legislation meaning most of congress had to remain in the dark before deeming it into law? Informed consent being exampled in a new era? But, before Americans get all railed up about the Employer Mandate, the Physician Mandate for EMR(electronic medical records), the Individual Mandate or the Caps of "out of pocket" limits ; we may have become temporarily diverted from an obscure section buried deeply in the new law. Section 2521 of the Affordable Care Act(H.R. 3962): The Creation of a National Medical Device Registry(NMDR). At first this section appears to be a rather insidious part of legalize until you begin to "put the pieces together" logically. The Affordable Care Act was passed after the House Bill (H.R. 3200) was defeated and modified by the Senate into H.R. 3590. When both houses reconciled the health law, the President's Bill(H.R.3962) was approved. However, there is still an amended bill of HR.S 3962 that rests still in the House which is H.R. 4872. Section 2521 which was admitted in H.R. 3200 has been modified a couple of times since its inception into more digestible language lately , but the original language reads that the Secretary of U.S.H.H.S is to create a "mandate" for establishing a NMDR to "facilitate analysis of postmarket safety outcome data on each (medical) device that is either class 2 or class 3". Class 2 devices are RFID transponders also known as micro-chips which were approved for human implantation by the U.S.F.D.A. The Section on page 1000 later reads that Class 3 are devices used "on" or "in" a patient and Class 2 are those for life supporting or sustaining abilities. The FDA gave the classification for these devices and has also approved radio-frequency transponder systems to be included with such devices. On page 1004 the proposal for Mega-Data collection(data-mining) of all EMR is described. These devices are to be covered by all those signing on to ACA. This obscure section(2521) is implementing the creation of a NMDR which is essentially what the EMR does and further states that any and all medical devices will have capability for "electronic tracking" and that these devices will be "implantable" . The Section previously read " class 2 and class 3 implantable devices in all patients...." This therefore allows the USHHS/USDHS to collect all viable data from medical devices inside or on a patient in real time. All real-time physiologic (biologic) events of a subject can and will be recorded in real-time. Why were "implantable" devices that are RFID being written into healthcare laws congruently even in earlier drafts of the law? Why was it also being "mandated"(covered) at the same time a NMDR is being created? Before there are too many wrong impressions growing out of this before it goes into effect, perhaps U.S.HHS needs to take time to interpret this law for the Americans who will be "covered" by ACA more precisely. Again the law has evolved since its inception from several bills submitted to the House and Senate and the language of "micro-chipping" all who subscribe to ACA has been redacted as of late, but you really won't find it in there now. It is creative legalize that is left to interpret and the "open-ended" feel that gives the Secretary of HHS unrestrained "discretion" to implement the NMDR to her liking. Today, the new language in the bill is not exactly direct, but is suggestive of allowing or "mandating" futuristically RFID devices that could become implantable under some situation deemed necessary. The NMDR is merely a" prescriptive pretext" necessary to facilitating it to becoming. "Micro-chipping" , no matter how cost-effective and practical still makes Americans very nervous. "Mandated" RFID can not be rolled out until later under emergent scenarios(epidemics/loss or overload of paper files) or the extreme commercial and acceptable ease of consumer uses of being micro-chipped. If one were to read this section today(NMDR/RFID) , the words "implantable" has been replaced by "sale and taxing" of Class 2 devices". But, if healthcare legislation is now considered a "tax", then it would also make perfect sense to replace that "lingo" with this new designation. The language needs to be examined either way and the questions need to be asked by constituents about defining "Implantable" bio-medical device uses termed Class 2 or Class 3 and how the NMDR will be utilized to gather data on its users by such devices. The new language is not "written in", it is more the "implied" notion of how technology will be utilized in the new world of healthcare extraction and extrapolation. More on that later.
