Hegelian Dystopia
Everybody knows that the Global Economy has made a major effect on everyone's life. However, many of us do not understand the machinations of how and what affected these changes on the grand scheme of things shaping our horizon. An evolution of economic experiments grew out the last one hundred years with architects by the name of Hegel, Engels, Marx, Lenin, Kerensky, Keynes, Galbraith, Friedman,Krugman and now Yunnus. The new "techno-economy" that merges computer and biomedical technology are nothing the past economic designers would have ever imagined. By the end of the 19th century and beginning of the twentieth century post-colonial powers had begun to lessen there chains on what would be later called the "developing 3rd world " .Much of the first world's wealth had usurped riches from the very nations it had dominated and helped "under-develop". In less than one hundred years the scientific discoveries in the medical-pharmaceutical , industrial and (bio)technological corporations would improve the living standards of virtually all those once deprived in the old economic colonial model, but for a price . The result was a spike in the world population along with a longer living average life span topped off with a large older living population which all created a complexity of "management" of all world's resources. A "great game" had to be devised to "manage" the worlds resources . This had to be done by "fixing" the access of those very resources to all human populations. Mathematics has and always forever will be the greatest and most important science to benefit humankind because of this, a legion of actuaries are more important than a platoon of soldiers. Why? because they can predict the future outcomes of what the world will look like through bio-statistics and very sophisticated mathematic computations. By knowing before hand how to predict what quantity of resources can be made available for a population one can determine what the global shape of the planet will be. Our planet today now has to deal with shifting demographics that can not be sustained by limited resources whether they be caused by real or artificially created food security issues, lack of potable water, medicines that treat or cause harmful side-effects,, loss of arable land or even a fluctuation in a labor force that can abruptly affect an economy. At the same time , there is climatic changes(uptick in tsunamis, typhoons, hurricanes and earthquakes), droughts, discharge of pollutants include nuclear waste, oil spills and now economic uphevel. The solution is creating a very tight mathematics that is tied to every daily resource in a human beings life. There is only one tool that can afford human beings the luxury or "illusion" of stability while yet account for the utilization of all resources to balance a daily equation of consumption, utilization and productivity . The tool that is built to measure all human activity and outcome is the microchip(RFID). Its uses will prove vital to the survivability of the planet because of the wide range of mathematical calculations if performs in real time. A growing world population means that the "elite actuaries" show that we can not go back to what the world was like 50 or 100 hundred years ago. It means that before resources are utilized they have to be fully accounted for and tracked for all demographics. This can only happen provided if the microchip(RFID) becomes an intimate tool attached to human use and function. Can it happen or will it happen? To some it is merely a matter of time. The tool already exists, the "mathematicians" just haven't agreed yet how the tool will be introduced. It can be done neatly and slowly over a period of time giving the illusion that free will and individual choice via the markets steers consumers to selecting it as the only rational solution to a fast paced world or it could come by a very "violent" or sudden emergent situation occurring to demand that all humanity is coerced to utilize it for the better good of the planet such as an epidemic(microchips could track the disease and treatment) or an economic collapse(where all utilization of resources consumed are scanned in real time) . Mathematics predicts the future. Before the computer age, the 'push-button" electronics age was considered miraculous, but the electronic age introduced a far more "miraculous" age, the "Digital Age". It is no doubt every component of daily life is digital. Name one thing today that isn't digital. Every electronic device in the home, vehicle, markets, transportation and communication and entertainment all demand for digital technology. Was this occurrence merely anecdotal ? The next step is a new nexus of Trans-humanism that promises to merge human beings with bio-technology and bio-genetics awaiting on the horizon. The question is what or how humanity calculates his present situation will certainly determine our future. Bio-genetic technology may offer a possibility to feeding the masses on a starving planet ,create new drugs for new epidemics, genetic manipulation for mutations for intrauterine development and new uses of 3-D bio-printing of human organ implantation. This will become a part of a new "techno-economic model that could never have been imagined by earlier economist . The possibilities seem endless. But, is it moral? The question will be for the future is whether it will be necessary? (More at http://nanonutrition360.blogspot.com

The Duopoly: Case for American Electorate to Mandate 3rd Parties
October's government "Showdown/Shut down"(October Surprise) may be the biggest reason why Americans are scratching their head puzzled by the credibility of their elected officials and their representing their constituency. Both political parties ignored the victim in this situation which is the American public who wishes to have a sense of security in the current crisis in the Global Economy. After several government services were interrupted, several million dollars lost on shutting down the national parks, several being furloughed and the healthcare website not really activated, Americans have just about had enough of this tug and pull. To make matters worse, lawmakers have only "kicked-the-can" down the road. We will be facing the very same exact scenario on January 15th for keeping our government open and again on February 7th when a vote on the debt ceiling is brought back( remember these issues occurred in March of 2013). The exhaustion of a repeat has brought the typical citizen to question the value of their vote and the bigger question of placing their votes in a more representative and responsive and responsible congressmen. Americans saw the impact what a 3rd party could do when Williams Jennings Bryant who ran as a Populist ran a very tight race in the 1896 election and early 1900s. Again, 3rd parties revealed how significant a role than can play when the Bull Moose party led by "Teddy" Roosevelt won his party's candidacy for president of the United States. These were examples of how independent-minded yet objective American political views could play a pivotal role in political ring. Many saw the Green Party's effort as the start of the workings of a serious pitch even though with less than 3 % of the electorate, Ralph Nader may have captivated the imagination of the American voter. Gary Johnson's Independent Party in 2012 at least put on the ballot an opportunity for Americans to have choice and gave a sense of empowerment that's been long lost. So, what is the American electorate to do? In Europe, real checks and balances are affected by several parties being placed on the ballot and are given equal media exposure along with balanced campaign finance. No one or two parties appear to be dominant and the tide in government by several opposition parties cause the shift in government more readily. Politicians can't afford to be too comfortable. If 3rd parties are given this opportunity this may cause elected officials to limit only voting their parties position or those who don't vote with their constituency rethink their policies , it may also limit their siding with special interests. Term limits haven't curbed this nor the gerrymandering of voting maps. The electorates hand may need to be forced to equal the playing field for potential candidates and reveal the true equality in our democratic system. If the electorate only represents two parties we will resign ourselves for what it has really become, a Duopoly and not a Democracy.

Independent Physician Group Not Shy To Speak Out
In most of the healthcare law there seems to be one single group that is always conspicuously missing from the debate. This group perhaps is the most important single group that could influence the outcome of our national healthcare system. It's the physicians! Where are the doctors one may be asking in all of this. One group called the Physicians for a National Health Program(PNHP) has spoken .Dr. Steffie Woodhanlher, MD, MPH from Harvard stated that the current "single payer" system that models a "Medicare for All" approach calls for too many plans, co-pays, exchanges and navigators. At best it is a skimpy coverage particularly for the middle income population. It is very good for the working poor and those not insured. The PNHP leader went on to say that the new health law is too complex , expensive and complicated. Even after everything is said and done 30 million Americans will remain uninsured( confirmed by the CBO , Congressional Budget Office) . There were 25 to 30 million who were already never included in the original law because of being mid level income people who can't afford the co-pay in the first place. The current plan appears to be 400 % above the poverty level. It doesn't appear to effect the premiums as great as it does out-0f-pocket payments and deductibles, but it is noticeable . By making Medicaid a state option and if states don't expand those in the program , those insured under it will not get healthcare. The group however, did feel a plan that expanded Medicare and enrolled the Veteran's Administration and Social Security Administration would be a start. These programs already know the income of people and where they fit in a health system by knowing what they can afford before selling them a policy. Another recommendation was a system modeled more after Canada and Europe could benefit the reduction of paperwork, waste and unnecessary spending and administrative costs. But, now more of the program is falling apart with numerous individuals being dropped by their health insurance plans, particularly the Keiser Permanente and Blue Cross programs in California, Florida, New Jersey and New York. But, that's not the end of it. Many medical doctors are also being "let go" by their plan as well. The roll out with the website is now being pushed back again to late November or December for full activation. This issue is also a point that constitutional scholars who will debate if this constitutes a legal matter compounded on to the 20 or more states who believe it is. With this physicians may no longer be able to sit on the fence.

What incentives do young and healthy have in joining the National Health Law:Part 1
Social Security and Medicare were created to insure the poor, the elderly and that the retired so that they could be ensured of having healthcare at affordable rates. Much of this was copied from the pragmatic social policies that were already in use in Germany and Great Britain's National Health System .Now, fast forward Eighty years later where approximately 50 million Americans "did not" have healthcare insurance at all and several million more are still under insured. Enter an era where 35% of Americans are overweight and 30% are obese. At a time where over 20 million are diabetic and many of the newly diagnosed are pediatric cases along with heart disease and cancer rising at a rate that make them the number one and two causes of death. Healthcare costs are 2.7 Trillion a year and is rising. Now, we are in dire straits of the "health" of our nation not just fiscally but some have said that the health a Americans should be considered a national security issue because of the implications.
DEPENDENT ON THE HEALTHY AND YOUNG:The current new healthcare law is dependent upon a continuous source of subsidizing that if it works. That source is the very healthy and the young. That group between 18 and 35 years of age who are typically healthier because they workout regularly and are not laden with multiple chronic illnesses. It is this group that the new system has to be dependent on to "subsidize" the system into flowing. But, there is a glitch...there is no incentive for either a young or healthy person to "buy in" . The young can save about $500 USD NOT signing into the new healthcare system and just be hit with the penalty. Not only that you do not have to "buy in" until you have a medical issue. Studies show that the elderly cost the healthcare system penalty of $95. The elderly are 7x(seven times) more costly than the young and healthy when it comes to paying the for those costs.
MANDATE PREVENTION: The new system forgot to "mandate" that its users have to have a set standard of checking what real health is> Mandate that those who utilize the system also have to maintain their health in the standards considered healthy . That means regularly checking (every six months) ones cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, hemoglobin A1c, cancer markers are within normal range. The Government should Mandate that exercise and nutritional programs and marker amounts are set to an individuals metabolism to prevent cancer, heart disease and diabetes.'''Creating a Lifestyle Mandate that the utilizers of the healthcare system should participate in activities such as walking three times a week for at least an hour, mandate that they lose two pounds a week if overweight, make sure they keep a normal (BMI) and make sure they hit a target heart rate weekly. These all cost much less than the $2.7 Trillion in acute care that we spend on today with surgeries, emergency interventions and fiber-optic procedures.
APPLICATION OF TECHNOLOGY: Billions of dollars could be saved with prevention services on a daily and weekly that could be called a weekly measure of health progress as either body mass or laboratory measures. why not give participants receive some time of credit that can be put to health use. Such as if you lower your blood cholesterol, glucose and body mass;you get free spa facilities uses , work out with a professional team for a a week in camp. Also give them incentive tools) to eat better by putting organic soft drinks and organic lunches in. Reward kids who take off weight with more activities that will motivate them to lose more wait. For older adults these positive benefits could be translated into health savings account credits that can be used in an event or medical activity that improves health while reducing cost.
INCENTIVE: We've just discussed why the young and healthy do not seem to have any incentive to "buy in" to the system because the fact they are already healthy and have a lower risk of disease and would much rather pay the $95 penalty. But, the same question should be asked of those who receive the subsidy of health insurance but do nothing to reduce risks by performing activities in exercise and diet or lab checks to improve outcomes over long term. If the young and healthy are subsidizing the unhealthy, elderly or uninsured ; those groups also do not feel they have any incentive to try to improve their health prior to seeking medical help. If the youth and healthy see a 50% rise in premiums because they have to assist "subsidize" healthcare they do not only feel it is advantage, they may feel they are being taken advantage of . The question is where is the "middle road"? It does exist. It exists where both groups feel an incentive and both the healthy and unhealthy perform tasks in prevention that can offset costs or actually reduce dramatically the costs of acute and chronic care medicine. The healthcare law is already in effect, so now lets improve upon it by "mandating" performances that improve health. Two other subsets still need to be looked at: those who are under-insured and unhealthy and compare that to our congresspersons who get to opt out of the new healthcare law and get their healthcare subsidized. If it is good for one American, it should be good for all. It is time to look at superimposing a Healthy Lifestyle Program to the Healthcare Bill. If not , it looks like its just a insurance tax and nothing is. Worksite health promotion programs at work, Physical Education programs in schools and community health/social centers with trails, gyms, and other outdoor and indoor equipment can help reduce childhood diabetes and obesity. This is what makes health a human rights issue, not just a insurance tax.If the young and the healthy feel that they are not getting anything out of this except just showing you have a government card, there is not much us for them to join in mass. This shrinks the sources for paying for the growing aging population.Another factor that will have to be looked at rather seriously will be bio-medical technology such as the microchip of genetic manipulation in maintaining a healthier society.

Dominoes Falling: The Implication of a Partial Government Shutdown Has Potential Longterm Effects
On the Monday the U.S. government shutdown occurred the markets had already began to wince and predict some reaction for the future. The Dow Jones had fallen by almost 125 points and the official shutdown was still yet hours away. What does this tell us? This "partial" government shutdown is unlike the one in 1995. The situation under which it comes under with the world economy especially. The shut-down means that approximately 800,000 federal employees will be furloughed. This includes those at Social Security, the Veterans Department, FBI, FAA and at national parks and monuments as well as several others . This government shut-down really is a congressional showdown with the administration based on the politics of the healthcare policy. They continue to play hardball . Congressmen , sometimes looking more like consigliaris with strong arm tactics and hurling threats back at each other. The two sides(Democrats and Republicans) are playing "political chicken" with the American public. This game of who will blink first will have a very injurious effect no matter who blinks first. We are also treading extremely close to the Debt Ceiling deadline of October 17th which is a giant fiscal cliff never imagined. Why is that date important. First of all we are mandated to pay $30 billion USD of $60 Billion owed to creditors, immediately. The USA has had its credit rating already reduced. So, what signals does this send further to the world market and its creditors? It says that our economy is standing on shakey ground. Can the U.S. afford another credit down grade?
OCTOBER 17TH IS D-DAY: The U.S. economy is $17 trillion dollars in debt, creditors demand $30 billion of a $60 billion payment. We have over $90 trillion in unfunded liability. Currently China, Japan, Germany and England buy our debt as Treasury Bonds(T-bonds).But, we are facing a "T-bond bubble". Usually when an individual has "maxed'out" on their credit card limit, they either have to rip up the card and attempt to workout a way to pay it off,or either be forced to pay off the debt forcefully or file for bankruptcy .
The government of the U.S must look at #1 Furthering the Sequester with more cuts to government agencies and entitlements or #2) print massively amounts of money to keep the system working and prop up the U.S. dollar at home while reducing its value internationally which would be Quantitative Easing expanded or #3 do like Argentina and default on the loans we've taken from international banks. Each leads to a potential financial collapse , but just at different paces. #1 and #2 are a slow painful way to go because someone's job has to be cut, but those who survive get to live another day. We are seeing the effects of printing lots of "free money" is having . This is the "monopoly effect", named after the board game. This creates hyper-inflation at home much like the Weimer Republic in Germany after World War I where it took 50,000 Reich Marks for a loaf of bread, but in countries that have stronger economies these prices mean nothing. Other economies could easily "gobble up" U.S. assets.
This political infighting appears very frivolous to the international community who are monitoring this(Martin Sorvell, WPP). This makes the U.S. look weaker, particularly after having to pivot its stance with President Putin with the Syrian ordeal. Other monitors(Ben Collett, Systems Wide Brokers) of the world economy see that this government shutdown will cause a lack in volume in the market along with lots of confusion. Their will be very little risk appetite and interest rates will taper off. We will see more dollar weakness world wide.
The U.S. is between a rock and a hard place and it's going to potentially balloon into a financial meltdown the size of which have not been seen in the world ever. Get your "elected" congressperson to realize what they are doing with "your" money. If there was ever a time to "balance the budget" and not just continued lip service this is it. How did a simple civil debate about healthcare become now a threat that could bring down our economy like a house of cards. Whatever happened to compromise?
